Braden started cycling seriously back in '99 in richmond with a road bike which quickly followed soon after with his passion for all things track bike related. Starting off he worked at Rowlett's bicycle shop as a bike mechanic and by the time he left he had become the sales manager there. Now he spends most of his time making sure that everything runs smoothly and everyone's happy at Carytown Bicycle Company. Before starting up Carytown Bicycle Company and while he was working at Rowlett's, Braden had started up Richmond's own underground fixed gear racing club, Sprint Club, which has now flurished into it's own USCF racing event, Go fast, turn left and now organizes and promotes the Bryan park circuit races (not to be confused with the Bryan park crit. races). Currently Braden "only" owns five bicycles; an olmo beater track bike, a CSK track bike, a Time road bike, an On-one Mountain bike and a Felt BMX.
