Our experienced service staff is professionally trained to diagnose & repair all makes & models of bicycles, not just the ones we sell. Whether it’s replacing a tube or a major overhaul, you can count on us to fix it right the first time. Our work is guaranteed to satisfy and we stand behind it!

Scheduling Your Service
When you bring in your bike for service, you will be given a repair assessment, price estimate and turnaround time. For most repairs you will need to leave your bike with us for a few days. We try our best to maintain a 48 hour turnaround time. However depending on the nature of the repair and the availability of parts, it may take longer. In the event additional labor or parts are needed to complete the repair, prices may be adjusted and you will be notified.

Minor repairs like replacing a punctured tube or installing an accessory can usually be done while you wait. We recommend calling ahead to make sure we can accommodate you.

If your bike is in need of more major repair (i.e. tune-up), we offer service appointment reservations. A $10 fee (credited towards labor) will reserve you a slot in our repair file for the day that’s convenient for you. With service appointment reservations, we promise to have your completed repair back to you the same day.

New Bicycle 30 Day Tune-ups
Congratulations on the purchase of your new bike! Within the first 90 days after you receive your bicycle, you are entitled to one free tune-up. During this time, your new bicycle will experience a break-in period where the brake & shifter cables will stretch and the bearing assemblies (headset, bottom bracket, hubs) will settle in. You may notice that the shifting isn’t as responsive and the brakes don’t grab as quickly. This is normal and will be adjusted during your free tune-up. No appointment is necessary for this tune-up, but Carytown Bicycle Company will need to keep your bicycle for 24 hours to complete the work.
